I will admit that I know of this character and the series for some time having read the Sandman series long ago - I just didnt know enough about it seems. With Lucifer i ended up finding a jewel which easily met the raised expectations that sandman had left me with. Lucifer does not have an issue with accomplishing this task in exchange for a letter of indulgence from God. The story flows too slow and focuses too much on seemingly unimportant parts, while not giving enough attention to the good bits.
